2019 Fun Troll Loppet Report

The annual fun Troll Loppet was held on Sunday January 20th, starting from the Viking Centre at Mud Lake at 10:00 a.m.  The temperature was 4 C with a mix of sun and cloud.  A good, and best participant turnout yet of 162!  The Viking Troll from the Vallhalla Mountains was there to protect the younger skiers and also to start the famous Norwegian friendly Troll Loppet Race!

Silver fuel cannister left at Snowberry Shelter.

 

Found - January 22, 2019

Set of Skis - left at Viking Centre after the Loppet on January 20th (email description to claim)

Volunteers who collect day-use fees at the Mud Lake and Glenmerry trailheads are critical to our Club's funding for trail grooming and facilities maintenance. 

If you can donate a day (~ 5 hrs.) or more of your time for fee collecting please contact Jim McKay at 250-365-6674 or add your name and the date(s) you are available to the sign-up sheet at the Viking Centre.
